Bill Booz

I am Bill Booz and I have 58 years of experience in the area of education. I started my career as a high school German and history teacher in a large school system outside Washington, DC but, eventually, moved into the area of instructional technology, learning new hardware and software then teaching teachers and administrators how to use it. After retirement from Fairfax County Schools (Virginia), I continued doing much the same in the schools of education at George Washington and the University of Virginia. Having always enjoyed photography, I began teaching photography classes. I decided I wanted to learn how to sketch and embarked onto another new passion that turned into a sketching and watercolor painting hobby which I then also taught.

Woodworking is yet another hobby I’ve embarked on as the CCRC (Continuous Care Retirement Community) in which we live has a fabulous little wood shop.
